Raised on the South-side of St. Louis Mo, at the age of nine years old, Robert Jerome Jackson bka Robby Jerome discovered his passion for music. Unaware in the years to come that he would tap into diversities, struggles and his love for Christ, one foot ahead of the other, Rob began on his quest to embrace music as motivation and therapy.

Along his journey chasing music and embracing his talents, Rob met a childhood friend by the name of Koran "Rikdikulous" Bolden. Rob and Rik understood one another’s passion for music, and from that point music was all they knew.

At the age of 18, Rob was left to deal with the why’s of the passing of his mother. After watching his mother dominate her many roles in taking care of “The Business” and “Family”, Grasping for clarity and definition of life, Rob was left to deal with the why’s of her unexpected death caused by a brain aneurism.

Rob needed something more to ease the pain and that meant, indulging in music. In 2002 Rob teamed again with childhood friend Rik, and friend Joshua Nicks (J-Nicks) and formed a local rap group by the name of First Draft. The group received a deal courtesy of Def Jam Records and preformed their hit single and video,” Too Many People”. Even during performing at many different venues, achieving local star appeal & having success wit radio airplay on St. louis hip hop stations, something was still missing from Rob’s life.

In 2006, Rob relocated to Atlanta GA, and was approached with the opportunity to sign with Sho’Nuff Records., with producer Jazze Pha. At the end of the year, along with former group member (J-Nicks), they developed a group by the name of DA FAM. Rob found himself introduced to the same reality that was left behind in STL, a collaboration of partial success.

Determined to find happiness and peace Rob was engulfed in pride, women, money, partying, drugs and any relationship that was worth maintaining had taking a turn for the worst. As Rob states, "Thank God for praying family & friends."

In March of 2010 Rob’s sowing of discord caught up with him, and he was sentenced to jail to wait for trial. " I had no one to turn to, or to trust, so I called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for comfort and understanding," says Rob. Well indeed the Lord heard his cry out unto him. Rob had accepted Christ on this day, in which he began praying, fasting, and seeking the voice of the Lord for daily guidance. Rob admits that his walk with Christ has not been easy but the reward of eternal life is “priceless”.

After being released from incarceration and the charges opposed to him were dropped. Rob relocated home to St. Louis and reconnected with childhood friend Rik, yet this time with a spiritual enhanced approach to assist Rik in his vision for StreetDreamz Recording Studio, a Youth Recording and Leadership Center, which involves: community outreach, public speaking, inspiring ambition, and leadership in local youth through music. Rik’s vision was the match that ignited the start of Rob’s predestined purpose. You may ask, what is Robby up to these days? Robby Jerome currently resides in St. Louis Mo, where he humbly dedicates his gifts, talents, and passion for music unto Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior. You can catch Robby Jerome at StreetDreamz Recording Studio, where Rob is committed to daily to his position as the Vice President of StreetDreamz Recording Studio (founded by Rik Bolden).

You might just catch him, spiting spoken word on Praise show 102.5 with Coco brother in Atlanta, GA , Gospel 1600 with Dwight Stone in St.Louis, or at community nonprofit organization called STRYVE, backed by the NAACP, that focuses on preventing violence in the community, where Robby is the Youth Chairman of the Communications Committee. Rob believes that God is still refining him in more ways than one, allowing his light to shine unto many.

During his many challenges in life along with the determination to connect with happiness, Rob found Christ and strongly lives by the word of God. Rob along with his partner Rik started a organization called "MillionHeirs Outreach," in which there mission statement is to "Influence the Influential." There goal is to save a million plus souls! Rob states, "Nothing is impossible when God is involved!" Robby believes that the foundation for salvation should be built upon Love, and relatable experience.

Robby Jerome has currently released his first debut album; Saved By the Bell, (www.RobbyJerome.com) where he speaks out about his unsuccessful past, pride, lust and greed, Rob doesn’t allow his short comings to dwell too long before he discloses how Christ met him where he was and truly saved his soul. Rob believes that no matter what sin or how much, when you are sincere about change in your life, HE will do the same for you!

Along with spiting lyrics that address the why's of trials and tribulations, how god will deliver, Rob states, "I am not proud nor want to seem boastful about my past, however, I do believe that what has been endured are testimonies that must be shared to meet those that may be where I once stood in my life”. Romans 8:28" And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

"Thinking Outloud" – THOUGHT OF THE DAY

Greetings everyone! Im so excited to be able to share my life with each and every one of you. This is truly a blessing to see how far God has brought me from the guy that I use to be, wow!! Sometimes I sit back and look at what God is doing and it feels like I'm in third person.

From increasing my talents from rapping, to singing, to spoken word poetry that I didn't even know I had in me! We'll I guess when its the Holy Spirit that is working in me then, I actually am in third person! wow! When Jesus ascended into the heavens to sit on the right hand of God, He left us with help to make it in life to one day be with Him. (JOHN 16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.") Isn't it amazing that we have God inside of us to be able to assist us in this world of madness?

So many times when Im witnessing to someone who wants to know Christ, they feel like its a hard task or like its something that them being in the flesh can or have to do on there own. Well If we could do it on our own then we wouldn't even need Jesus. But you best believe He died for a reason! He loves us so much! He knew we couldn't do it on our own, in our weak flesh & with the temptations of this world.

So today I wanna encourage everyone to be mindful of the Holy Spirit that is within us, that have chosen Jesus Christ. Lets give a thank you, glory, hallelujah shout out to the Holy Spirit! You don't have to make decisions on your own, nor be subject to the standards of this world. I pray that you are spiritually lead in everything you do & think!
